Using ZunTzu w/o internet access?

Do you need help installing or using ZunTzu? Would you like to report a bug?

Using ZunTzu w/o internet access?

Post by tycho216 »

Ok, so I've noticed that ZunTzu won't launch unless I'm connected to the internet. What data is it retrieving from the web? Is there any way to make it so it can launch w/o being connected? One of my main concerns is that I'm putting a LOT of time and effort into building gameboxes, and I'd like to be able to play them over our LAN without having web access. Also, let's face it, someday that website and/or support for ZunTzu may no longer exist, and 10 years down the road, i'd still like to be able to launch ZunTzu and access all of my hard work.

There are three methods to launch ZunTzu:
1 - by clicking the link in the Files section of this web site
2 - by opening a ZunTzu file (.ztb, .zts or .ztg)
3 - by clicking the shortcut in the Windows XP "start" menu

Method 3 is the only one that will work when not connected to the Internet (due to a limitation of ClickOnce).
