Today's update

Today's update offers reduced memory footprint when loading images.
As a result, it is now possible to load larger images, and it's also faster.

Game box designers should be aware that images with these formats won't benefit from the optimization:
  • progressive JPEG's and interlaced PNG's (avoid those formats)
  • JPEG's with an exotic color space such as CMYK (convert image to RGB or greyscale before saving)
  • encrypted images
In my tests I've used this game box containing a 21,600 x 10,800 image of the Earth.

Amazing! I honestly zoomed in expecting it to refocus like google earth. Jerome, you are amazing. I think ZunTzu is nearly perfect and is just getting better.
