Images resolution

Do you need help installing or using ZunTzu? Would you like to report a bug?

Images resolution

Post by Alejo »

Hi!
I started working in a gamebox (VG Gulf Strike), and I have the counters scans made at 400dpi...
Is that a problem? Do I need to do them at 150, 300 or 600 dpi only? And what about the map? do I have to work with it only in those dpi values?
Well, I gess this is the first of many questions to come

Hi Alejo.
Tell ZunTzu your images are 300 dpi. It will work.
You'll just have to be careful if you plan to mix different resolutions in the same game box. For instance, if you mix 200 dpi and 400 dpi images, you need to tell ZunTzu they are respectfully 150 dpi and 300 dpi.

Thanks for the tip.
About the map, I'll do the scans at 300 dpi, no matter the counters are at 400 dpi.
In the end both will have a setting of 300 dpi in the game-box.xml file.

Thanks again.
