I'm afraid it's kind of stupid question, but i really can't figure it out.

In every game box, when you mouse over a stack it just lights up and you can press Ctrl to see the contents:

But in my gameboxes, when I mouse over a stack it automatically goes like this:

How can I change that?

You want to define your pieces as 'cards' instead of 'counters'.
Counter stacks and card stacks behave differently.
