Will Zuntzu work on Android?

I am looking for a tablet pc for my job, and I also want to watch movies, listen to music and play games with it.

So, I´d like to know if there´s the intention of making Zuntzu work on Android. It could de sold in the android market as any other, and all the boardgames fans would be able to test our ptototypes in a very confortable way. Or just play a commercial game on line with a friend.

It would be nice!! And I think that there is enough free games for zuntzu to make it interesting on a tablet.

I presume that Vassal or Cyberboard don´t run on android ¿do they?

Saludos!

That would be nice. I am afraid it will not happen soon.
I you are prepared to wait, you should pick up a device with an ARM chip and PowerVR graphics.

Wouldn´t it work on a tablet with 1Gh Processor and 1Gb Ram DDR2?

I have put my eye on Asus Eepad Tf101 , with Nvidia Tegra2 for less than 380 €

I see that it moves 3d games, it should be able to run Zuntzu.....?

Newest tablets come with powerful chipsets and graphics. It´s expected that this year they put quadcores on tablets.

Performance is not an issue. My concerns are about the challenges of maintaining a code base targeting many different hardware platforms.
Nothing is decided yet.

Ah, I see. It´s the main problem of Android, the fragmentation.

¿Have you ever worked with Augmented reality?
¿Do you know the librarys ARToolkit?
¿Are you interested in it and the possibilitiesfor boardgames?

I looked over the internet but everything is being done with propietary aplications, no chance for creating your own set of QR codes and 3Dmodels and be recognized by a webcam. Al least, some soft like Atomic allows you to show one 3d model using a QR code, but only one, not useful for making games. You have to pay a programmer to create an specific aplication.

Thanks for the answers.

No I haven't. I know nothing about that.
