Widescreen display problem

Post by PirateJock »

Hi

Am just discovering the joys of ZunTzu but ... my laptop screen resolution is 1366 x 768 and when I run ZunTzu the display area isn't filling the screen - I'm getting black edges on both sides. I've tried using the obvious display settings in the program and also ticked the widescreen option with no success. I'm running Win 7 Home 64 bit.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Press Alt+Enter for Full-screen mode...

Hi Bill

Tried that as well but still get the black edges :(

The reason I'm interested to get it sorted is that for this laptop (my travelling one) the screen is only 11.6" so every pixel counts!

Cheers

Hm, then it must be something to do with your resolution/aspect ratio.

It works fine for me at 1920/1200.

Are you connecting to a game hosted by someone else? The hosting user actually controls whether you see Widescreen or not, your local setting won't matter in that case. If not, then that's a weird one. It works for me at 1920x1080.

Hi!
Look for the widescreen check box in the display settings.
It makes all players switch to widescreen. Players with 4:3 screens will see black bands on top and bottom of the screen.

Thanks for the replies. I've had a play around and got it across most of screen by changing fullscreen to 1280 x 768 :)
