Transparency on counter sheets

Is it possible to set transparency on counter-sheets?
My idea is to apply transparency to:
- plastic transparent pawns
- transparent pieces (e.g. jewels)
- transparent dices

Can I simply produce transparent or semi-transparent images?
Which image format is more suitable for transparency?

Hi Pomate,

Yes you can have transparent counters, but you need to create a mask for them (in .png format) - you can find an example in my D-Day gamebox.

I don't think transparent dice are currently possible, however.
