Is it possible to make game boxes based on games such as Magic: the gathering?
I'm new to this and I have a card game design of this type and would like to know if it's possible.

It should be possible yes. Check out the poker gamebox to see cards in action. My own Twilight Struggle and Thirty Years War gameboxes also use a lot of different cards.
