Something worth mentioning: when you're hosting a game, make sure you communicate your public IP address to the other players. That address can be different from your local IP address. ZunTzu determines the correct address automatically, and copies it to your clipboard. Just paste it into an email ...

Error on installation

Jerome, you may have received a flurry of error reports in the past few minutes. That was me, trying to install ZunTzu in a machine outside my frewall. I did a fresh install of Windows XP SP2, DirectX 9.0c and the .NET framework. When I tried to install ZunTzu, the installation went smoothly until i...

Ports necessary

What are the ports used by ZunTzu to connect? My Windows machine is behind a Linux firewall, and I think I managed to open udp port 1805, but my partner couldn't connect. I have seen references in the Internet to DirectX games using other ports; is this the case with ZunTzu?

What do you have in mind? The ability to keep in writing some information visible to both players --- say, "This port has already used 75% of its capacity this turn", or "Demolition unsuccessful", or other notes like that. When preparing scenarios, for instance, you could have a...

Feature request

Are you logged with administrator privileges? (I'm not sure it makes a difference) Yes. Did you manage to go through the .NET installation? If not, could you try installing .NET first from the Microsoft web site, then restart the computer and try again? Aha! That did the trick. ZunTzu installed nor...

- you need Windows XP (I hope I will get an opportunity to test ZunTzu on Vista soon) Check. - you need DirectX 9 (I think it is part of Windows XP SP2 anyway) Check, DXDIAG reports Directx 9.0c. - you need a 3D card that meets the requirements for DirectX 7. Your old GeForce2 MX should be just fin...

What are ZunTzu's technical requirements?

What exactly are ZunTzu's technical requirements? I tried to install in two different Windows machines; in one of them the install won't run at all, in the other it ran to completion.

The machine it didn't run has a NVidia GeForce2 MX/MX400; perhaps that's not powerful enough to run ZunTzu?
