I agree with you completely--which is why I'm doing Anzio for ZunTzu instead of playing Italia on Vassal.
I'd still like to know if 2.0 will be able to handle stepped counters. I guess only Jerome can answer that.

Thanks dbes. I'm working on an Anzio gamebox where almost every unit requires several cou...

It is indeed a puzzle. And for me, without another XP machine to test against, it will have to remain so. I'm glad changing the files to non-interlaced worked for you. And I thank you for introducing me to the wonderful IrfanView program. I will definitely make good use of it. So for now, I'll give ...

Bill, I have 1 GB of RAM, 80 GB hard drive, XP Service Pack 3. I just loaded Anzio with only the two non-intelaced files and got the same result: The 300 dpi file crashes, the 150 dpi loads fine. (As I expected, the Vista machine ran them both.) I think now that interlaced/non-interlaced is not what...

Bill, I have taken your advice and downloaded IrfanView. It did indeed knock my 29mb map file down to 17. Amazing! Thanks. Back to the Vista/XP story: My wife's Vista laptop ran the modded D-Day (even before IrfanView lightened it) in all scenarios and all tabs with no problems. XP crashed on the &q...

Same game-box: Vista works, XP doesn't
Here's something that has me stumped. I was adding counters to a game-box and everything worked fine on my Vista machine. When I opened the game-box on my XP desktop the map displayed fine but when I clicked on the "Counters" tab ZunTzu shut down. I don't remember the error message. The ma...

Could you try switching User Account Control off? Ah Jerome, you did it! It works! I turned off User Account Control, rebooted, downloaded ZunTzu and the program installed perfectly. I turned User Account Control back on, rebooted and started ZunTzu. It ran perfectly! Amazing. Thank you so very muc...

Hi! Are you using Internet Explorer? Does it work if you make Internet Explorer your default browser? Thanks for the quick response Jerome. Yes I am using Internet Explorer 8. It is my default browser. I don't have any other. (If this means anything, I get a failed message everytime I try to update...
