In some games you are allowed to roll a set of dice a defined number of times and keep certain beneficial dice as you go. One such game is Roll Through The Ages. Once you have reached the defined number of rolls you must keep what you have and make the best of it. In ZunTzu, let's say I roll 6 such...

What does this graphics encryption do? Can it be used within the current version? Will this encrypt the graphics portion of the game box so publishers won't be upset about their graphics being shared in the file? From the release notes for 1.2 ... "The other new feature of special interest to ...

Bill already has most of my wish list items. I would also like to add dice locking too. There are several games I would like to implement, but dice locking is a problem. Could you explain in more detail what you mean by dice locking? I did mean to add to the list "indicator which dice were rol...

That's OK - you're relatively new here  But I'm very pleased to see some life injected back into the forums, and particularly your evident enthusiasm. It's a real shame (and something of a mystery to me) that ZunTzu hasn't attracted more adherents. Sure, it doesn't work natively on a Mac and ...

... I'm very pleased to see some life injected back into the forums, and particularly your evident enthusiasm. It's a real shame (and something of a mystery to me) that ZunTzu hasn't attracted more adherents. Sure, it doesn't work natively on a Mac and PBEM is not integral to its design, but in my ...

I'm using "tricks" to get extra features out of ZunTzu. Defining the "map" to be a tabletop image, using "terrain" for the maps and turn tracks, and counters go on top of those. With some research, I see you're a master of the tabletop technique, as well, Bill. Didn't ...

BUMP. This information should STILL be in the support area. Just a link to the PDF from the "how to add dice." help section would be a huge improvement. This information should be in the support area. Hi, Hedge-o-Matic! Sorry for the late reply. To do the other die types, do we need to do ...

Yup, I pretty much learned everything through trial and error. And of course it took longer than expected  However, I can now build and edit gameboxes very quickly - it's getting the graphics to look their best that now consumes most of my dev time... I'm using "tricks" to get extra...

Sure, but I just don't think that Jerome anticipated what you (and I, perhaps others also) are trying to do with the code.... Regards, Bill. If I'm honest Bill (no, we don't *really* know one another), you were on my mind when I decided I should post these bugs. Once the "power user" star...

And that's a tool that I could make use of myself

Are you able to share it or does everyone need to contact him directly?

Regards, Bill.
You need to contact him directly. Each copy is individualized.

Hi Dulcaoin, I presume that you're asking about graphics encryption (otherwise I don't understand your question) in which case I'm pretty sure that only Jerome has the answer. And yes, we all miss the man and hope that he'll come back soon :( Regards, Bill. While it's not a return, I did get a copy...

Hi dulcaoin, I wouldn't describe those issues with Terrain objects as "bugs", because they simply won't arise if people build gameboxes in the prescribed (as Jerome intended/expected) way. Sure, people will screw up their xml ( very easy to do), but as you suggest - nobody is ever likely ...

Re: Bug Report for 1.2

You can't put terrain counters in a stack, you will receive a NullReferenceException. Note that you almost certainly have no need to DO this, it's just the error capturing and reporting that should be improved. If you try to show the back side of a (single-sided) piece of terrain, you'll get a Null...

If you open a scenario from within a module (gamebox), ZunTzu will keep a lock open on the .ztb file. It will NOT do this if the scenario is loaded as the startup scenario. Only if you load a gamebox, then load a scenario afterward. --- joshua Here is another: You can't put terrain counters in a st...
