Hexasim Games

I've just posted links to two new game boxes. Liberty Roads I did myself, but Kawanakajima 1561 was built by the game's designer François Vander Meulen.

Great games with more to come...

That will work of course, but it seems simpler to me to just rename your save game file (the.ztg) to be the same as the original file (.zts) and copy it back into the game box...

Just my 2 cents

Yes, the scenario file (.zts) has to be separate from the game-box.xml file and yours looks like it should work (once you replace the "xxxx"s with the correct code of course).

Steve,

I'm not sure what's going wrong for you here, it may be something to do with the resolution (or perhaps the declared resolution) of your files.

One thing's certain, your counter sizes seem way out - only 37 pixels by 37 (?). I'd expect them to be at least double that size...

You need to add a line to your .zts file to layout the counter sheet: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <game game-box="Battlements!" scenario-name="begin"> <layout board="5x5" /> <layout board="Attacker" /> </game>

Steve,

You haven't declared layout tabs for your two counter sheets in the .zts file...

Jerome, That all sounds fantastic and well worth doing :D My only real concern is with the graphics issue - if Silverlight isn't able to match the performance of ZunTzu on a standalone PC (with a good graphics card) then it would be a retrograde step. The zooming/panning power of ZT is far and away ...

Steve, For one thing your .zts file shouldn't have image-file declarations (they're handled solely in the game-box.xml file). It should look something like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252" standalone="yes"?> <game game-box="Island of Death" sc...

Steve,

There's not enough to go on here (your code seems sound).

I'd need to see your .zts file too, but it might be a problem with your graphics files...

Have you checked that they're all named and referenced consistently? Don't forget about capitalization.

If I were Jerome, I'm sure I'd have been more help

No, if you're running IE then I don't see why you can't download I'm afraid (I presume as well that you're also running XP or later).

All I can suggest is that you try again, or wait for Jerome to come to the rescue

Don't get excited, because I'm not sure :)

It looks to me as if it might have something to do with the .NET framework/ClickOnce stuff...

What browser are you using?

Pokke, If you right-click on the CMD shell as Jerome suggests and get the black box displaying, you should see the line C:\Windows\system32> Then enter Path followed by C:\Users\ my account \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ZunTzu Software\ZunTzu.appref-ms Once you've done that ...
