Talisman uses the same controls as all other ZunTzu gameboxes. Consult the ZunTzu help.

There is no online lobby like with VASSAL, you have to find your own opponents and connect directly to each other.

With Windows 8 Microsoft is making clear that Silverlight is no longer the future. Any impact on ZunTzu 2?

Zoom each tab to the level you want. Then save your game. Open the ztg with your XML/Text editor. For each layout, copy the left, right, top, bottom attributes to the zts. Example: <layout board="Counters1" left="-2055.00" top="-138.22" right="6845.77" bottom=...

I think I misunderstood the part about the access points. The problems with chat are (unless I missed something): - no history, once the text fades it's gone, and that is not always convenient, it means you have to keep paying attention or you might miss something - some of the player colors make te...

Silverlight is a very young, immature and unproven technology. I am worried about the performance and the general pain that web applications are. It is nice to have cross-platform ability, but I'd rather see a well performing windows only application than a cross-platform hog web-app. A non-web app ...

You can find a way to get it done if you try hard enough. But it will be so cumbersome, will anyone want to play it like that?

You put this in the game-box file: <map name="Mission 1" image-file="Mission1.bmp" resolution="300 dpi"/> <map name="M1 Setup" image-file="Mission1Setup.bmp" resolution="300 dpi"/> <map name="Mission 2" image-file="Mission1.b...

Just as scenario 1 goes in a Mission1.zts file, scenario 2 should go in Mission2.zts file, not inside the gamebox file.

Screen resolution is 72dpi, not 75. I found ZunTzu will only read the resolution when it is 150dpi, 300dpi or 600dpi. Anything else will be read (with error) as 72dpi.

You are almost there. You are getting 1 big background counter because you haven't defined it in counter-section. All you need to add is the back-top, back-left, back-right, back-bottom. <counter-sheet name="Blips" front-image-file="BlipsFront.png" front-resolution="300 dpi&...

You have not set the back-image-file, nor back-mask-file, and you have not set any of the counter-section back-left, back-top, back-right, back-bottom.

With the 4 coordinates you determine the rectangle of the area where you counters are in that graphic. By using the rows and columns attributes you can have ZunTzu automatically split up that area in equal division by the number of rows (vertically) and columns (horizontally). So, another example: Y...
