Hi Luiz, Again, that sounds promising, but how much video RAM do you have allocated to it? Forget about the size of your gamebox on disk. JPEG compression (or any other type) is irrelevant when loading files into memory - it's the number of pixels that counts. Also, it doesn't matter how much syste...

That sounds promising - thanks for letting us know :) How well/smoothly does it run, and can it cope with the larger gameboxes? Sadly, I spoke too soon. ZunTzu runs, but after a few seconds it hangs the VBox and even the Linux host system. I'll try to tweak it a bit more. Unfortunately, there is no...

UPDATE: following the instructions on http://www.rawcomputing.co.uk/windows7/win7tips19.html, I was able to run ZunTzu under VirtualBox on a Linux machine. I haven't tested the network connectivity yet, but at least ZunTzu runs now.

I'm glad to see you back! I think I was looking for one of your gameboxes, no longer linked to your site. It was one of Jerome's favorites as an example of an "extreme" gamebox, but we couldn't find a copy. Now, why would anyone consider my gameboxes as extreme, I wonder? :D Well, my site...

Re: Normandy '44

Anyone have a copy of the Normandy '44 gamebox ? I know one existed once upon a time :) I created a gamebox for Normandy'44, and it is available at my page http://www.luiz.claudio.nom.br/tiki-index.php?page=ZunTzu (registration required). Please notice that I have just upgraded to a new server and ...

Just for testing, I installed Windows XP SP3 under Virtual Box. ZunTzu installs without a problem, but when I try to run it I get the following message: "Can`t start ZunTzu. Graphics card doen't meet ZunTzu minimum requirements. Are the drivers installed?" I configured the display under Vi...

I'm waiting for the DoD3 to arrive in a few days and I'll recreate the gamebox then.

World in Flames

One of my friends and I are about to start a World in Flames/Days of Decision ZunTzu game. Anyone wants to join in? :)

We are in Brasil (GMT-3).

ZunTzu on a Mac

Has anyone succeeded in running ZunTzu on a Mac? I have a Macbook running OS X and I'm considering purchasing a Windows emulator, but it would be nice if it could run ZunTzu.

How to reduce the size of a jpg file?

Folks, can someone give hints on how to reduce the size of jpg files? I tend to err on the side of caution and my image files end up too big for comfort.
