Sigh. You're right, of course. I never had this problem before, that I could remember, but it's been a short while since I had such odd-shaped components. My mask had a non-zero grayscale value in the background. Couldn't see it with your eyes, but the program, of course, knew it wasn't transparent....

Non-Clickable Alpha support

I'm currently designing a game with triangular pieces. Since piece definitions are rectangular or square, this leaves a lot of leftover territory that is masked off. All well and good, but when the pieces are in any sort of proximity, they snap to each other and, worse, the "alpha-ed out" ...

Maximum dimensions

Hello.

My most recent project is a card game that requires high-res art. The pixel array is pretty big (33 MB image file), but I treated it like other game boxes I've made. When I try to add the gamebox to the library, though, ZT hangs. Is the large dimension image file part of the problem?

I love Zun Tzu, but wonder if it's still a live project or not. Although I don't have any real ability to donate at the moment, I'm wondering if there's any way for the community members to contribute to the project to keep it moving forward. Not so much like in an open source sort of way, since I k...

These are all in the pipeline. I recently asked for a "Black Bag" for no-information draws directly to a players hand.

For your game, however, wouldn't merely making two-sided tokens or cards work? If the players always return them to the stack, a simple shuffle should do just fine.

Hi, and welcome! A player-matching system is in the works, but isn't included yet, so finding players can be a challenge. Maybe we need a section in this forum for such match-making. The file you're looking for should be a .ztb file, not .zvt. Open Zun Tzu, go to your library, click "add",...

Also, is there anything in the roadmap that is meant to serve as a "black bag" for chips or counters to be drawn from? As it is, I've got a game that has some double-sided counters that reveal what they are when in a stack, so the standard stack inspector method of shuffling doesn't work. ...

Yep, that was it. You're amazing. Even having developed the program, I'd expect you to be stumped, sometimes, given the number of possible causes to problems. But nope, never happens.

Thanks again!

OutOfRangeException

I was close to finishing my latest gamebox, and a tweak to my game-box.xml file now causes this error on open (which fails): Error of type IndexOtOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array. I checked my images, to see if I was designating pixels outside the image, or something like ...

No worries there then (at least for me :D )
Glad I didn't waste any time making an Ogre gamebox! I've never seen a company so eager to crush its fan's efforts to promote their games.

Simple is not the same as pleasant, or quick, or efficient, or optimal. Multi-select is the feature many users are most looking forward to.

Re: Handling Cards When Setting Up A Conflict of Heroes Scen

Q: Is there a way to stack the cards and move them as a stack, as you can with counters? A: Yes. Hover over the stack, and hit control. Trace over to the bottom-most card. click-drag the entire deck. Q: If I make a save game and rename it with a .zts extension, will that come up when I use the "...
