I agree with what said before, ZunTzu representation of the boardgame experience, is awesome.
It's a real pity those like me a several others, who have switched to not Windows OSs, can't enjoy it yet.
I really wish some hero will be able to port it to Linux.

I finally started to work on the VaeVictis's Gettysburg game-box. When early today I realized how error prone it is editing game-box xml file, I went to search ZunTzu forum to see if there was some suggestions about good XML editors. Those I tried to use, were not very useful, beside highlighting th...

I agree with zilf, GDK idea was great. As well as many I guess I too couldn't follow this forum as it deserves and so missed to add my support. However, especially now that I'm finally put an effort to make my first game box, I see the great value a tool, for editing the xml code, would be. I've tri...

Re: Gettysburg campaign - VaeVictis #8
A technical issue could be the scan of the map. I already have one but not in color and I'm not sure if I will find a service around where I live. So, if there is someone else who is interested in this game and has the chance to produce a color version of this game, let me know it. Are you still wo...

Hi Epaminonda! You should post a message in these french wargaming forums: Strategikon , L'Estafette Regarding the permission, you should send a mail to Nicolas Stratigos at VaeVictis magazine. Issue 8 is out-of-print anyway so he will probably agree. Hi Jerome, I already contacted Nicolas Stratigo...

Thank you. Do you think it will be inserted in your road map, or it is not an interesting feature? My 2 cents, the impression, is that it may result a bit messy, at least with games where there are stackings, as when the mouse would hover a stack, it will trigger both a tooltip and the stack units....

Gettysburg campaign - VaeVictis #8
I own a copy of this game, which uses point to point map system with a good ruleset and as soon I will work out, how to create the relative Gamebox, I will surely do it. However have to query for permission yet. As I see there are several Gameboxes relative to VaeVictis games, I guess it should not ...

looking for a "No War But Murder" game
Hi, I'm learning this game, which looks very promising. It shares the rules already used by Avalon Hill in "Thunder at Cassino", "Breakout Normandy" and another couple of titles at least. I have played a lot those 2 titles, but many years ago. I'm a old grognard, who doesn't real...

Re: XML error
Hi Bill! Just remove the ">" after startup-scenario="HS.zts". There is the same error in the "First Blood - Guadalcanal Campaign" game-box.xml file. However, the game seems to work and he just displayed a warning when you add it to the Game Library. BTW, ZunTzu is real...
