Re: Which S/W do you use to make game-boxes?
I've made plenty of xml errors. The big ones won't let the gamebox open, so those have to be fixed. It's the little ones that are embarrassing. They let the game open so you don't know they're there. They show up when you try to Add the gamebox to the Library . ZunTzu can double check your xml synta...

Re: Baseball Dice
Very nice gamebox. And very clever using the "counter sheet" as the playing surface.
A lot of fun. I've played it quite a bit already. Thank you Mr. Harkaman.

Re: Publisher Corner - ATO
Well... Not to be excessively rude but "awe" is not what I feel when a publisher tells me I can only post a gamebox that only his customers can use. When he defines ZunTzu as a niche market within a niche market my feelings turn to amazement. Not amazement over his acumen but amazement tha...

Re: Cardboard v Computer: Would you pay for a complete game?
Hi Bill. Consider yourself a man ahead of his time. You made all my points eight years ago. It boggles my mind that, in the intervening years, no one in the game publishing business has addressed this oversight. They don't seem to grasp that there is an untapped market waiting for them... (You) Bill...

Cardboard v Computer: Would you pay for a complete game?
Hi ZunTzu folks, I've been kicking around this question for awhile and I'd really like to know. Here's the situation as I see it... Right now ZunTzu hosts quite a number of games that are incomplete. They are--deliberately--missing the rules, charts, and tables. This is in accordance with the publis...

Re: Can rotation be set to different increments?
Thanks for confirming that Jerome. Yes, I rotate my pieces after movement too. I used to do that with cardboard and was happy to see that I could do the same when I first started using ZunTzu. 15 degree increments is perfect for a lot of purposes. However in this gamebox (Ada Lovelace: Consulting Ma...

Re: Can rotation be set to different increments?
Hi Edgar. I wasn't clear. I said "mouse wheel" and should have clarified that I was talking about the "scroll" wheel and not the mouse buttons. On my mouse the wheel makes audible clicks. In ZunTzu the wheel doesn't scroll anything, it rotates the counters, so that's why I called...

Can rotation be set to different increments?
Does anyone know if there is a setting to change the rotation of counters? Right now it takes 24 clicks of the mouse wheel to make a full 360 degree rotation. That's 15 degrees per click. I'm making a game box where I only need 90 degree turns; just one click instead of six. It sure would be nice to...

Re: Using All the advantages of ZunTzu
Hi Max, Thanks for your reply. Actually I wasn't singling anyone out; I just wanted to spark a discussion on what our goals should be and then, maybe, how to make better boxes. Seems like the spark fizzled out. Too bad because I think ZunTzu will suffer for it. My personal opinion is that without co...

Using All the advantages of ZunTzu
Hello fellow gamebox makers... I'm probably going to take some flak for this post but I'm hoping it will spark some discussion on this forum. ZunTzu is experiencing a much welcome resurgence thanks to the efforts of Ricky Perz, Jerome, and several other dedicated individuals. ZunTzu is a fantastic p...

Re: Installation Link Broken?
Hi "Easy" (Sorry, I don't know your real name.) The link for the ZunTzu installation file is still broken as I write this. I had an old "setup.exe" file from 2014 that I used to reinstall ZunTzu on my Windows 10 computer when the program started to act strangely. (It wasn't allow...

Re: Networking instructions needed
Hi Rich, I don't know how the viewer thing works. Sounds like you allow the other computer remote control over yours when he's making his move? Then vice-versa when it's your turn? Only one of you is running ZunTzu then? I'm having a hard time picturing it. When ZunTzu was working I played several g...
