Avalon Hill 1914, Tactics II

Post by phillies »

For my forthcoming book "Designing Board Wargames - An Introduction" I could really use Game Boxes for Avalon Hill's 1914 and Tactics II. We do not seem to have these. Perhaps I am missing them. Does someone have them hidden someplace?

It's highly unlikely that those exist and unless someone wants to scan the components to build them, I doubt if you'll see them anytime soon.

But, those are really old and out of date games - surely you'd be much better off using more recent ones? I think you'd sell a lot more books.

Hi Phillies,

How is the book coming along :?: I can see the interest in covering these two games for historical reasons.

Do you think that 1914 was the first (or one of the first) to use double sided counters :?: I have often wondered if this is the case.
